Félix, the fintech transforming remittance transfers via WhatsApp using artificial intelligence (AI) and stablecoins, has solidified its position as a benchmark at the intersection of financial technology and global payments.
The company was a central player at the recent Stripe Tour New York 2025, a gathering that brought together thought leaders in the payments industry. The sector's validation was immediate: Félix's case study, highlighting its explosive growth and Stripe-powered infrastructure, was showcased on the success stories wall alongside other major industry players.
Paving the way with stablecoins and wallets
El momento cúspide de la participación de Félix fue el foro de discusión "Scaling with stablecoins: Why wallets are key to growth" (Escalando con stablecoins: Por qué los wallets son clave para el crecimiento).
Manuel Godoy, CEO and co-founder of Félix, shared the stage with prominent tech leaders, including Geoff Charles (Ramp), Dimitri Dadiomov (Modern Treasury), and Henri Stern (Privy).
The conversation focused on how stablecoins, such as USDC, are revolutionizing payments by enabling real-time settlement and opening new revenue streams. Félix's focus on remittances was key to illustrating this potential:
"Stablecoins are designing a new remittance rail that avoids the inefficiencies and high costs of traditional FX," explained Godoy. "Beyond simple storage, programmable wallets allow us to automate payment flows and offer faster, more favorable rates, which are essential for communities that rely on remittances."

Accelerated growth: The Félix and Stripe model
Félix's success in using this technology did not go unnoticed at the event. The fintech's case study revealed the robustness of its infrastructure, built on key Stripe products:
- Innovation in user experience: The Félix platform, which uses an AI chatbot integrated into WhatsApp to initiate transfers, makes sending money "feel like a natural extension of their daily interactions" for the Latin American user.
- Operational efficiency: By integrating Stripe Payments and using Bridge (a Stripe company) for stablecoin settlement, Félix has achieved a crucial milestone in the remittance sector: 30% month-over-month growth in payment volume.
- Security and trust: Stripe's infrastructure has also allowed Félix to maintain an impressive payment authorization rate of approximately 90%, an exceptionally high figure for the cross-border sector.

Looking toward the future of AI-powered payments
Félix's presence at the Stripe Tour underscores the convergence of remittances, AI, and programmable payments.
The event also served to preview the expansion of Stripe's functionalities in areas like wallets and automated loan origination, opportunities that will be key to Félix's future growth. By capitalizing on Stripe Connect to manage its complex multi-ownership setup and its ambition to expand into new corridors, Félix is prepared to lead the next wave of innovation in cross-border money movement.
