This promotion (the “Promotion”) is offered by Félix Technologies Inc. (“Félix Pago”) and consists of the opportunity to access a promotional price adjustment on the preferential exchange rate for certain transactions made at participating Grupo Walmart locations.
This adjustment:
- It is discretionary, dynamic, and subject to availability. It does not constitute a vested right nor is it part of Félix Pago's standard pricing model. It only applies at the time of transaction confirmation.
- Eligibility
To participate, the user must:
- Have an active Félix Pago account. Comply with Félix Pago’s internal policies, regulatory requirements, and applicable terms. Complete an eligible transaction in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Félix Pago reserves the right to request additional information or documentation at any time to comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations, including, without limitation, Know Your Customer (KYC) processes, money laundering prevention and counter-terrorism financing (AML/BSA/OFAC), as well as for fraud prevention or risk management purposes.
Meeting the eligibility requirements does not guarantee the application of the promotional exchange rate adjustment.
- Transaction Requirements
For a transaction to be eligible, it must meet the following requirements:
- It must be a cash pickup; It must be made at participating Grupo Walmart locations; and The transaction must be completed successfully.
Cancelled or rejected transactions, or failure to meet any of these requirements, means the transaction will not be eligible.
- Validity Period
The Promotion will be valid until September 30, 2026, at 11:59 PM (CST), or until it is modified or terminated in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
- Promotional Exchange Rate Adjustment
Eligible users may receive a promotional adjustment on the base exchange rate in effect at the time of the transaction.
Important:
- The exchange rate fluctuates constantly. The promotional adjustment applies to the entire amount sent. The exchange rate shown on the confirmation screen will be the only valid and applicable one. No exchange rate shown prior to confirmation constitutes a binding offer or is locked in. The exchange rate is only fixed at the moment the user confirms the transaction on the final confirmation screen.
- Promotional Adjustment Conditions
The promotional adjustment to the exchange rate is variable and not predetermined; it may change with each transaction and depends on factors such as:
- The current exchange rate
- The amount sent, operational conditions, and internal budgets
Félix Pago does not guarantee:
- Continuous availability of the adjustment
- A minimum level of savings
A fixed spread relative to the market
- Compliance, Fraud Prevention, and Prohibited Use
It is prohibited to:
- Use duplicate, fraudulent, shared, or third-party accounts. Manipulate or abuse the system or promotions, including the use of automated processes, bots, or other similar mechanisms. Generate, use, or control multiple accounts associated directly or indirectly with the same user, device, IP address, or payment method.
In the event of detecting non-compliance, Félix Pago may, at its sole discretion:
- Deny or withdraw the promotional adjustment
- Cancel or reverse fraudulent transactions
- Audit account activity
- Suspend or cancel accounts
The user declares that their account corresponds to a single individual.
- Regulatory Compliance (AML/BSA/OFAC)
Félix Pago may:
- Hold, block, or report transactions
- Request additional information
- Deny operations without prior notice
This may occur due to regulatory obligations and does not constitute a breach of these Terms & Conditions.
Blocked or under-review transactions will not be eligible for the promotional adjustment.
- Relationship with Walmart Group
Walmart Group and its various formats act as independent service providers and not as agents, representatives, partners, or affiliates of Félix Pago. Each establishment operates under its own terms, conditions, hours, and service availability, which may be modified at any time without prior notice.
Félix Pago acts exclusively as a money transfer service provider and, where applicable, as the provider of the promotional exchange rate adjustment, without assuming any responsibility for services provided by third parties.
Consequently, Félix Pago will not be responsible for, nor does it guarantee:
- The availability, location, or continuity of payment or pickup points;
- Processing times, delivery, or availability of funds by third parties; and
- The operation, functionality, or quality of service of third-party establishments.
Félix Pago makes no representations or warranties regarding the services provided by Walmart Group, and any claims related to such services must be directed to the corresponding provider.
- Modifications and Termination
Félix Pago may modify, suspend, or terminate the Promotion, in whole or in part, as well as update these Terms & Conditions, without prior notice, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Any modification will apply only to future transactions that have not been confirmed by the user.
Once the user has confirmed a transaction and received the corresponding confirmation screen, the conditions applicable to that transaction, including the exchange rate shown, will not be modified by Félix Pago.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, Félix Pago may cancel, reverse, or adjust already confirmed transactions in the following cases:
- fraud, attempted fraud, or abuse of the Promotion;
- technical, operational, or pricing errors (including manifest errors in the exchange rate); or
- compliance with legal obligations or regulatory requirements or those of competent authorities.
Modifications to these Terms & Conditions will become effective upon their publication or update on Félix Pago's official channels.
- Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- Félix Pago's total aggregate liability arising from or related to the use of the Promotion or the service shall be limited to the amount of the transaction in question; Félix Pago will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including, without limitation, loss of profits, loss of data, loss of opportunities, or reputational damage, even if such damages were foreseeable. The service and the Promotion are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.
Without limiting the foregoing, Félix Pago shall not be liable for delays, failures, or inability to perform resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including, without limitation: technical or system failures, network interruptions, acts or omissions of third parties (including financial institutions or providers), exchange market conditions, or legal or regulatory requirements.
- Privacy
The processing of personal data will be carried out in accordance with the Félix Pago Privacy Notice available on its official channels.
- Disputes and Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions, as well as any controversy, claim, or dispute arising from or in connection with them, including any matter relating to their existence, validity, interpretation, performance, or termination, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.
- General Provisions
