Note: This document sets forth the terms and conditions applicable to the "$10 USD Extra on Your First Transfer" promotion (the "Promotion") from Félix. This Promotion is temporary, and its benefits are additional to and distinct from any other current Félix program (including, without limitation, the Referral Program). In all matters not modified by this document, the Félix Terms of Use and Privacy Policy apply.
This agreement sets forth the terms and conditions (the "Agreement") between Felix Technologies Inc. ("Félix," "we," or "our") and the user ("you") participating in the Promotion. By participating in the Promotion, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement, as well as the Félix Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions in their entirety, you are not authorized to participate in the Promotion.
1. Eligibility — Who can participate?
A "New User" is defined as a person who (i) has a Félix account that has been verified in accordance with Félix's KYC procedures, and (ii) has not previously completed a money transfer through Felix Technologies Inc. The use of any other Félix product or service, including products offered by Felix Credit Inc., does not affect New User status. A person who has previously completed a money transfer through Félix will not be considered a New User, regardless of whether said transfer was made through a different account.
You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your state of residence if it is higher.
The Promotion is available only to residents of states where Félix is licensed to provide money transmission services.
2. Requirements to Access the Benefit
To receive the Promotion benefit (the "Benefit"), the New User must meet all of the following requirements:
- Complete their first money transfer through Félix during the Promotion Validity Period (Section 7). The transfer must be destined for one of the following countries where Félix operates: Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Nicaragua, Ecuador, Peru, Costa Rica, Brazil. The minimum transfer amount must be equal to or greater than USD $50.00 (fifty US dollars) or its equivalent, excluding fees. The transaction must be approved by Félix and considered "successful"—meaning the funds are deposited into the beneficiary's bank account or the cash sent is picked up by the beneficiary at the selected location. Transactions subject to subsequent declines for any reason, or chargebacks, will not be considered "successful." There is no restriction regarding the payment method used, provided it is one of the valid payment methods available within the Félix platform. Comply with the Félix Terms of Use and any other additional requirements specified by Félix.
Any transaction that is canceled, rejected, or does not meet the requirements set forth in this Section will not qualify for the Benefit.
3. Promotion Benefit
A New User who meets all the requirements in Section 2 will receive a discount of USD $10.00 on the total amount to be paid for their first money transfer (the "Benefit").
The Benefit is applied automatically at the time the transfer is initiated. It is reflected in the information summary and the receipt you will receive for said transfer. No promotional code is required.
Because the Benefit is applied at the time of the transfer, it does not expire and cannot be redeemed independently or at a later date.
If your first transfer is declined, canceled, or not completed, you will be refunded the total amount you paid, and you will retain your eligibility to receive the Benefit on your next qualifying transfer, provided it is initiated during the Validity Period.
Limit: one (1) Benefit per New User. When Félix determines that multiple accounts are controlled by the same person, only the first qualifying transfer will receive the Benefit.
The Benefit cannot be combined with any other Félix promotion that reduces fees or the cost of the transfer.
4. Prohibited Use
You may not participate in the Promotion in the following ways ("prohibited uses"):
- Creating duplicate or fraudulent accounts to qualify as a "New User." Using different identities, logins, registrations, or similar methods to obtain the Benefit more than once. Participating in the Promotion in violation of any applicable law or regulation. Using the Promotion for commercial purposes. Participating in the Promotion in locations where it is prohibited by any applicable law, statute, or regulation.
If Félix determines that you have engaged in prohibited use, Félix may withhold or reverse the Benefit. Félix will notify you if it does so, and you may contact the Félix support team at ayuda@felixpago.com to dispute such determination.
5. Modifications and Termination
Félix may modify or terminate the Promotion or this Agreement at any time, with or without notice. Modifications will take effect upon being posted on the Félix website. Continued participation in the Promotion after a modification constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.
Any modification or termination will apply only prospectively and will not affect a benefit already applied to a transfer, nor a transfer initiated before the modification or termination takes effect.
6. Limitation of Liability
Félix will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your participation in the Promotion. Félix's liability will be limited to the monetary value of the corresponding Benefit.
Nothing in this Agreement limits, waives, or modifies any right or cause of action you have under the Electronic Fund Transfer Act and Regulation E, including Subpart B (Remittance Transfers), or under any other law that cannot be waived by agreement between the parties. Your right to cancel a remittance transfer and your error resolution rights are governed by the Félix Terms of Use and applicable law, and are not affected by this Promotion.
7. Validity Period
The Promotion will be valid until December 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. (EST), or until it is modified or terminated in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
8. Governing Law
The governing law and resolution of disputes related to this Agreement are governed by Section 19.10 (Governing Law and Arbitration Agreement) of the Félix Terms of Use, which is incorporated into this Agreement by reference. Nothing in this Agreement limits, modifies, or supersedes those provisions, including the arbitration agreement contained therein.
